I had said in a previous post that I was going to be adding MICHEL catalog numbers to older stamp pages. Well, I decided, if I am going to redo it., I’m going to redo it right. So, the new pages have Catalog numbers AND date of issue on them. The difference between the new old pages aren’t that great, so you should be able to just use new pages going forward without having to remount everything, unless you want the extra information.
A typical stamp with title, date, catalog number and description will look like this:
A completed page looks like this;
The stamps are also on the pages in release order, to the best of my ability.
So, far I have completed 1992-1997. I was going to try and get all of the 20th century done before I released them, but with the holidays coming up, my time is going to be limited. So, I figured it’s better to release what I have. So, here goes:

Hi I’m hoping you can help me. I have a friend who is a big time Ukie stamp collector and she’s been looking for MINKUS STAMP CATALOGUE – Ukraine. i’ve been trying to help her out but we can’t find it 🙁 any idea where I can get it? Scotts keeps popping up but they don’t have just Ukraine. THANKs!!
I did not know that Minkus made a stamp catalog. This guy: http://scottcataloguepages.com/ cuts up Scott catalogs by the country and sells them. I have bought the 2014 Ukraine pages from him.
I wish you would have place the Michel numbers inside the stamp box and NOT below it.
Most collectors in the U.S. do not go by Michel.
The problem is:
1. The rest of the world does use Michel when it comes to Ukrainian and Russian stamp numbers, so there is value there.
2. Michel is the only company that would let me use their catalog numbers. Scott told me I was competing against them and would not grant me a license.
The rest of the world also uses several other catalogues such as Stanley Gibbons and Minkus to name a few.
The numbers still should have been inside the box !!!
Source files are there. Feel free to move them. For my personal use, I want the numbers outside the box.
